...Before You Buy

What is the fabricator’s reputation?
You can learn a lot about a company from what their previous customers have to say about them on online review sites. Creative Surfaces provides our customers with such exceptional service that much of our business comes from customer referrals.

Who will be in my home during installation? Can I trust them?
You wouldn’t let just anyone into your home, would you? Unfortunately, many fabricators use temporary subcontractors for installation work. With Creative Surfaces, you can always feel safe and make sure your most precious possessions are protected.

Creative Surfaces spares no expense and takes no risks:
• All members of all crews pass an extensive background check
• All members of all crews are drug-tested and drug-free
• All Creative Surfaces crews are direct employees – no subcontractors

Does the fabricator use a machine for the most precise and smooth edges or do they fabricate by hand?
Some countertop fabricators cut costs by cutting the countertops by hand. This results in unsightly wavy edges and imprecise dimensions.

Who can I trust? Everyone says they’ve got the “best customer service and great quality.”
• What proof do they have to support the claims?
• Will they provide you with references?
• What awards have they won?
We welcome customer inspections and are pleased to present our excellent references. Stop by our showroom to see the letters from happy customers or view our online reviews. Creative Surfaces was awarded Best of Houzz Service Awards in 2013 and 2016 from houzz.com.

Is my countertop quote for the completed project?
Different contractors/fabricators price granite countertops differently. For example, one quote for granite countertops may appear to be a better value than another, but it may only be because part of the total cost is excluded. These are most likely granite countertop quotes that are given for materials only, which can be deceiving as it leaves out all other required costs. Instead, always be sure you are receiving a quote for the completed granite countertop project. This quote will prevent any surprises later on as it includes not only the stone per square foot but also the edge polishing cutouts, backsplashes and installation, as well.
